Worship In Spirit And in Truth

Jesus spoke of true worship being in spirit and in truth and not at a specific location (John 4:23-24). The act of worship is more than lip service. True worship comes from the heart when connected with the truth of God’s word. Worship becomes a lifestyle for the believer rather than a ritual. The revelation of God’s redemptive work through His Son Jesus Christ stirs and compels believers to respond in adoration expressed in song, acts of kindness, and loving communities of believers and non-believers unconditionally.
When we exalt the name of God through our life of worship His presence alters our atmosphere with love, joy, peace, and grace. His presence takes residence in our hearts allowing us to reflects His nature. David said, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” (Psalms 119:11)
